In a nutshell, yes, the new Facebook Timeline strategy does mean updating your FB business strategy. I’ve spent the better part of the weekend looking at Timeline tutorials and videos, and consulting with a few resources on this new Facebook update which is taking place on March 30th, whether we like it or not, for both personal and business pages.
With my review, I’ve found some positive things like being able to highlight those posts that you want to keep showing to your audience. Additionally, addinng “milestones” is a good feature for events and such. The one negative is that your graphically customized page is no longer the first thing your customer will see. Yes, you can have that welcome page as an “app” on your cover page, BUT you will have to resize the graphics.
